Oh my goodness do I love this tool! I am a massage therapist and have had the achedaway for a week now, and this is a game changer! I work a lot with athletes and heavy weight lifters. This melts adhesions and soothes sore muscles with little effort. It does get a bit hot even on the lowest setting, but some extra lotion takes care of that.

I purchased the heated scraper, and the first time that I used it I was able to get rid of the painful knots in my calves. I had tried massaging them with my hands, but could never break them down. After ten minutes with the scraper, I felt a real difference! I am so glad that I invested in this!

Just received my Achedaway Scraper Heated Muscle Scraper. Used it on my clients and got great feedback. So far I am impressed with the quality of the scraper. I just recieved this in the mail yesterday so I have only used it once. I noticed when I turn it upside down it cuts in and out. I think having a lotion to allow it to glide would be better. It doesn't glide well in your skin. The heat is nice but coud be hotter. I used it on my traps, neck and arms.

I work as an RMT and I just got my heated muscle scraper. All my patients love it so far. It's great for warming up muscles before deep tissue treatments and releasing fascial restrictions. It's like a mix between hot stones, muscle scraping and a theragun (with the vibrations). It's also really ergonomical to use, the triangle shape is easy on my hands and wrists. If you're contemplating adding it to your toolbox, I'd give it a shot!

I’ve had scraping tools used on me before in Physical Therapy or Massage sessions and the cold blade always sends a jolt at first touch, interrupting the relaxing process. What I love most about ached away is the heated blade! It is next level. Instead of the cold jolt, you get a warm, muscle melting into relaxation sensation. My clients LOVE this addition to their massage sessions! The heat is such an asset to each session (not to mention for me as well so the tissue is more pliable). I am an LMT and have a majority of my clients that schedule for Deep Tissue. EVERYONE wins with this added tool. I have used it on myself as well, but it doesn't feel the same as getting a session with this tool. So, I will be bringing it to the LMT's I book with to use on me if they so choose. And so far, they love it too! :) BEST benefit is the heat (on the receiving end I've noticed) and the sneaking use of Graston (on the giving end even to those clients who don't like Deep Tissue) to strip those stubborn trigger points out!

This appears to be sturdy and well made, and is easy to clean. It heats up quickly, and the combination of heat, vibration, and pressure makes for a very effective treatment. I like the variety of edges available for use (flat, sharp, curved). My massage clients are loving the heated scraper too, and several are seriously considering purchasing their own unit for home use between massages. So far the only drawback is that the battery level drops faster than I'd like, which is an issue if I'm doing a lot of massages in a day.

I love what it does to hard fascia it melts it like butter! After the first week it started rattling a bit but that hasn’t bothered the vibrations or heating element yet. I use it at least 5 times a week. The charge holds for about two weeks worth of people for me.
The cleaning process is a bit of a pain but I like to make sure it’s clean before the next client. Overall it’s 4.7 out of five for me. If you are debating on this just get it! You and your clients will love it!

Be wary of delivery! I live in a large building and purchased this as a gift for someone else. It’s an expensive gift to have delivered by a no name service. I got a call that appeared to be spam and it left a voicemail that was a robot voice stating to check my door or package room for my item. It was not at my door or at the package area for my building but it was tossed out in front of the gate of my building. This is a huge problem for me because I live in a large building and had I not spent time trying to track it, I might’ve not found my $200+ item that was a gift for someone else. There was no place in the shipping instructions for me to give more information about accessing the building or finding my unit easily. That should’ve been my first clue but I trusted that an expensive product would be delivered with greater care. Hopefully the product is worth the money as the reviews showed.

I have had this for 2 weeks. My clients are loving the results of the device. However, I noticed this week, it's cracking and is missing the plastic around the edge. The hottest I keep it is at the lowest setting. It has not been dropped. I noticed the first couple of uses pieces of black stringy plastic falling off during use. It was coming off at the crease where the 2 sides attach. I'd love to keep using it, but cannot with its current condition.

Love the tool. Unfortunately I use it way more than I guess you are supposed too, so the battery life on mine only lasts about three months. I'm not too excited about having to buy a new tool every three months. So If the battery could be improved that would be nice. I have bought 6 so far in one year. it is getting a bit pricey.

I love this tool so much!! I had a c section surgery 2 yrs ago and left alot of abdominal scar tissue that has become very painful now, I rub some castor oil on my lower stomach and use this tool on HOT and just massage my belly and it's day 3 and the pain is kinda gone!

I absolutely love my Achedaway heated scraper because it is easy to carry with me, easy to use. The first day I got it my daughter came to me and said her shins were hurting, so I used it on her for 5 minutes and she was up and running again. Just got mine this week, and it is already a hit with my clients as well as me. If you are an LMT who does Deep Tissue, this is a game changer! What a great way to warm clients up and save your hands for the detail work. I love it so much I ordered two more. Now that I have seen how much more I can accomplish in the same time using this tool, I don't want to be without it. At first I thought it would be something I used occasionally, as I am not much into using tools besides my hands, but this is a wonderful intuitive extension once you get the hang of it. I noticed the vibration aspect seemed a bit random at first and was wondering if perhaps I got a defective one, but it seems to simply require a certain type of pressure to kick in. I also noticed that at first it would still be vibrating when I set it down, but after the first use, it tends to only vibrate when I'm using it. This helps battery life. It is a mild vibration which feels nice to clients, but with or without it, this is a great tool. The heating aspect is amazing! My clients respond to this with the greatest enthusiasm. The instructions say you have about two hours, and I would say that's about right. I wish it charged faster, but you can't have everything. It seems to turn off automatically when charging, and the cable is short, so I would'nt try using it while charging. Honestly, just buy two. It makes the most sense. You won't regret it.

As a massage therapist we are always looking for good tools to help our clients. We all love the Achedaway heated scraper. The heat is just enough to effectively release the fascia and muscle. Our clients enjoy the heat. Please do not use this on dry skin, you have to put oil or lotionon the skin to have a nice glide since you need continued motion with the scraper.
